Terms & Order Policy
⚠ Allergen Notice: Our products are made in a home kitchen that processes wheat (gluten), dairy, eggs, soy, and tree nuts. Cross-contact is possible. If you or your guests have a severe food allergy, please contact us before ordering. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
1. Ordering
All orders are placed through our online order form or directly by phone at (254) 325-9870. Submitting the order form does not guarantee your order — we will confirm availability and details via email or phone.
An order is not confirmed until you receive a written or verbal confirmation from Cake King. We reserve the right to decline any order.
2. Notice Requirement
We request at least 48 hours' notice for all orders. Orders with less than 48 hours' notice may be accommodated at our discretion but are not guaranteed. For weddings, large events, or complex designs, we recommend contacting us as early as possible — ideally 1–2 weeks in advance.
3. Pricing & Promotions
Prices are set at the time your order is confirmed. Promotions (including any sitewide discounts) apply only to confirmed orders placed during the active promotional period. We reserve the right to end or modify promotions at any time without prior notice.
The following may involve additional charges:
- Three-layer cakes (upgrade from standard two layers)
- Delivery (fee based on distance)
- Complex custom decorations or special designs
- Rush orders (less than 48 hours' notice)
4. Payment
Payment is due at the time of pickup or delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash and common digital payment methods. Specific payment methods will be confirmed with your order.
For large orders (multi-tier cakes, wedding cakes, or orders over a threshold agreed at time of confirmation), a non-refundable deposit may be required to hold your date.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
We understand plans change. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
- More than 48 hours before pickup/delivery: Full refund of any deposit paid, or order credit at our discretion.
- Less than 48 hours before pickup/delivery: Deposits are non-refundable. We may have already purchased ingredients and begun preparation.
- No-shows: Orders not picked up at the agreed time without prior notice are forfeited. No refund will be issued.
If you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt with photos. We will work in good faith to make it right, which may include a partial credit or replacement at our discretion. We do not offer refunds once a cake has been partially or fully consumed.
6. Pickup & Delivery
Pickup: Pickup location will be provided upon order confirmation. Please arrive at the agreed pickup time. We are not responsible for cake condition after it leaves our care.
Delivery: Delivery is available for an additional fee based on distance. We will confirm deliverability and fee at the time of order. We exercise care in delivery, but we are not liable for damage caused by customer-provided conditions (e.g., a vehicle interior that is too warm).
Once a cake is in your possession, responsibility for its care — including transportation, refrigeration, and storage — transfers to you.
7. Custom Designs
We do our best to match design requests. However, handcrafted items are inherently unique and may vary from reference photos. A likeness to a requested design is not guaranteed. By placing an order with a custom design, you accept this limitation.
We reserve the right to decline any design request that we deem offensive, defamatory, or that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
8. Food Safety & Allergens (Full Disclosure)
Our kitchen is not certified allergen-free. We regularly use and may have trace amounts of:
- Wheat / Gluten
- Dairy (milk, butter, cream cheese)
- Eggs
- Soy
- Tree nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds)
- Peanuts (may be present in facility)
If you have a known food allergy or intolerance, please inform us before ordering. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but we cannot guarantee the absence of any allergen due to the shared kitchen environment.
By placing an order, you acknowledge awareness of this allergen notice and agree that Cake King is not liable for allergic reactions when allergen information has been disclosed.
9. Limitation of Liability
Cake King's total liability for any claim related to an order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including, but not limited to, loss of enjoyment at events.
We are not liable for damage or deterioration of products after delivery or pickup.
10. Use of This Website
This website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate order requests. You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose. All content — including text, images, and design — is owned by or licensed to Cake King and may not be reproduced without permission.

11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Bell County, Texas.
